Rogers closed; trash pickup as usual

Everyone and especially those who live on Rogers:

I have checked with the city and been told that those who live on Rogers should put out their trash as usual June 15-June 26. The construction folks will let the trash trucks in to run the route. Other than that, the street is closed, and the construction crews are working.

On a different subject, if you have feedback about the City Council's plan to close Kirkwood downtown most of the spring and summer in future years, there is a meeting Tuesday, June 16, from 5:30-6:30 pm at City Hall for the mayor to hear from residents as she considers whether to accept or veto the decision.
