Need a house or apartment for new faculty member

Hi, Everyone,

We received this request for help in finding an apartment or house for a new faculty member. 

I am moving to Bloomington for a tenure-track job at the Hamilton Lugar School at IU. 

I am looking to rent a place for at least one year, and possibly longer.

This would be single-occupancy at the start, with fantasies of a cat or dog (or both?!) at some point down the line. 

I would love to find a home that is renovated, well cared for, and in a quiet neighborhood, 

ideally within walking distance to campus - or somewhere between walking and cycling distance. 

Being on a quiet street that is silent during the night is a plus, but double-paned windows that effectively block out the noise is a good compromise. 

I would go for a one-bedroom, a two-bedroom, or a small house in the range of 1500-1900USD per month.
