Hi, Everyone,

I hope you have had a moment to honor veterans on Memorial Day. There are many veterans buried in Rose Hill, including Gerry Kisters, the first person in World War II to receives both the Congressional Medal of Honor and the Distinguished Service Cross for his valor in 1943. After the war, he returned to Bloomington, living here the rest of his life. There will a new state historic marker erected in the county in his honor later this year or early next year. The peonies in Rose Hill are still beautiful.

We will not have a PHNA meeting June 2. Instead, we will have a Food Truck event June 17 from 5-7 at the parking lot at 700 W Howe, the Church of the Nazarene. We hope to see you there. Bring a friend!

You should receive a printed newsletter in the mail this month. Thanks to Eoban Binder.
