Irish Traditional Music at its best from Baltimore. David McKinley Ward’s singing reaches into your soul and makes you want to lead a better life.. Sarah Collins grew up with a fiddle in her hand, and with that fiddle has maintained subtle dominance in the very competitive Old Bay session scene. She is also fluent in Arabic and scholarly about too many things to list. Marty and David grew up with chainsaws in their hands and it was through their work as competing city arborists that they first met. Following initial territorial tension, they bonded as musicians through many late night sessions, gigs, festivals, and competitions, and when they combined forces with Sarah, each member of the band felt a complementary power and musical synergy none of them had felt before. We are lucky to have this Celtic tour de force come to Bloomington, Indiana!
Following the concert, there will be a tune session. IT will be mighty.
