Galvan reconstruction to begin, 324 S Rogers

Hi,

Good news from 324 S Rogers. It has taken a long time after the terrible fire last fall, but the Galvans are ready to begin rebuilding. The insurance folks have agreed, Historic Preservation Commission has approved, permits have been issued, and cleanup and tear out are scheduled to begin this week. Some demolition will occur because of the fire and water damage, but they are rebuilding! The family is doing fine in their current rented location, but they look forward to being back here occasionally this summer as work progresses. We are looking forward to seeing them too. Please be patient with the construction work. It will be a long process of rebuilding, but things are moving forward!
