Cemetery workshop on Saturday, Food Truck on Tuesday, and more

Hi,

We have a busy few days in the neighborhood. 

Please join us Saturday, June 6 from 10-2 at Rose Hill to work on headstones in the cemetery. The flier also notes we are raising funds to supplement the grant from the city to work on the stones in need of more care. 

Come to the Food Truck Tuesday from 5-7 at the Church of the Nazarene, 700 W Howe. Sue Murphy, our treasurer will be there to receive dues and donations to the cemetery project. See the second flier. 

Did you get the printed newsletter in your mail this week? We try to do this once a year, using  a grant from the city to pay printing and postage. Please let me know if you didn't get the mailing. If you have comments or suggestions, please send them as well. 

College Avenue is going to be closed  at the Convention Center expansion for about a month. Second Street construction is progressing as well. So, patience may be required!

We are recruiting officers to be elected in September--President and secretary for two year terms and a vice-president for a one-year term.

One more reminder--Third Street is one-way going west from Jackson Street to Smith Avenue. There are a number of people coming east on that section of Third.

Our next regular meeting will be July 6 at 6:30 at Southern Knoll, 1105 W 3rd.
