Hi, Everyone,

We have three updates:

1. There is a Headstone Restoration Workshop Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 am - 2 pm in Rose Hill Cemetery. Wear work clothes and bring gloves, hat, water, and a snack if you want. You can come for a short time or for the whole event. The volunteers had done wonderful work in the past. Join them if you can.

2. We will not have a neighborhood meeting on Monday, Nov. 3. We still plan a Dec. 1 meeting.

3. Do you need help raking leaves?  The IU chapter of Habitat for Humanity will rake your leaves as a fundraiser. They request $15/hour per volunteer. The deadline to sign up is Friday, Oct. 24.See below.
.
"We’re excited to kick off another year of the Habitat Rake-a-thon! Each fall, our volunteers come together to help community members by raking and bagging leaves from their yards.

If you’d like our team of volunteers to come and rake your yard this season, here’s the link to sign up:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1jB6pe3tMGmsVt6Lea_tz_7mjSRE-yNhF5Ns0WcWEZhw/viewform?edit_requested=true

The deadline to register is October 24th. Once you submit, we’ll follow up with full details and any necessary paperwork.

If you would like to pass this on to people in your community that would be great!"

Best,
Habitat for Humanity at Indiana University
