Hi, Neighbors,

We have two upcoming events:

Friday, Sept. 26, from 4-6 pm, Bloomington Parks and Rec is hosting an open house at Building Trades Park at 619 West Howe. We are celebrating this year's renovations, including the parking lot, a new accessible walk between Howe and Second Street, and the new small shelter. There will also be info about what is planned for next year.

Sunday, Oct. 19, from 5-7 pm, the PHNA Fall Picnic in the park in the new accessible shelter on the west side of the park. We have also reserved the Front Porch Trailer from Housing and Neighborhood Development, which has tables, chairs, games, etc.

P.S. A few neighbors were able to attend the groundbreaking for the new Beacon project at 1201 W 3rd on Sept. 23.
