I'm setting up a new, personal, home use, Prosody server in a fresh Debian
10 box.
I've installed prosody from prosody repository, so:
root@vpbxlpb1:/etc/sasl# dpkg -l | grep prosody
ii prosody 0.11.6-1~buster1 amd64 Lightweight Jabber/XMPP server
installed sasl2-bin and lua-cyrussasl, enabled it, added file /etc/sasl/prosody.conf with
content on:
https://prosody.im/doc/cyrus_sasl
added 'prosody' user in group 'sasl' but, after that, i still get:
Sep 23 18:36:04 vpbxlpb1 prosody[26506]: c2s563d151c8120: Client connected
Sep 23 18:36:05 vpbxlpb1 prosody[26506]: c2s563d151c8120: Stream encrypted (TLSv1.3 with TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384)
Sep 23 18:36:05 vpbxlpb1 prosody[26506]: c2s563d151c8120: No available SASL mechanisms, verify that the configured authentication module is working
Sep 23 18:36:05 vpbxlpb1 prosody[26506]: c2s563d151c8120: No stream features to offer
Sep 23 18:36:05 vpbxlpb1 prosody[26506]: c2s563d151c8120: Client disconnected: connection closed
What i'm missing? Thanks.
