Gajaraju is a Telugu movie released on 21 Dec, 2012. The movie is directed by Prabhu Solomon and featured Vikram Prabhu, Lakshmi Menon and Thambi Ramiah as lead characters. Plot
Bomman (Vikram Prabhu) is a mahout who earns a living by taking his elephant Manickam to various places and performing. He is assisted by his uncle Kothali (Thambi Ramiah) and his friends. One day, they are hired by a village elder to protect their crops from a wild elephant named Komban. Bomman agrees to the job in exchange for money and a piece of land. He also falls in love with the elder's daughter Alli (Lakshmi Menon), who is initially scared of Manickam but later warms up to him.
However, Bomman has a secret that he hides from everyone. Manickam is not a trained kumki elephant, but a calm and gentle one who has never encountered a wild elephant before. Bomman trained him with love and care, and hopes that he will never have to face Komban. But fate has other plans, as Komban arrives at the village and wreaks havoc. Bomman has to decide whether to risk Manickam's life or save the village from Komban.

Music
The music of Gajaraju was composed by D. Imman, who also composed the music for Kumki. The song "Ayayayoo Aananthamey" was a hit among the audience and was praised for its melody and vocals.
