For connecting multiple players to a Mac, as well as designating them as audio output device targets for your supporting DJ software, you will first need to set up an aggregated device.

This can normally be accomplished by using Audio MIDI Setup, a utility which comes bundled with Mac OS X.

We have provided an alternative program called CDJ/XDJ Aggregator, which simplifies this procedure to a single click.

Mac OS users:

You don't have to install this driver software. Mac OS standard driver will be automatically installed when your CDJ/XDJ is connected to your Mac with a USB cable.

It is recommended you update your MP3 Player Drivers regularly in order to avoid conflicts. Driver updates will resolve any Driver conflict issues with all devices and improve the performance of your PC.

To fix your Drivers problems you will need to know the particular model of the MP3 Player device you are having problems with. Once you have the details you can search the MP3 Player Manufacturers website for your drivers and, if available, download and install these audio drivers.

If you are unsure of whether or not you need to update your Drivers, or indeed which Drivers may need to be updated, you can run a Drivers scan using a driver update tool (you will need to pay to register this tool but usually the Drivers scan is free). This will allow you to assess your Driver needs without any commitment. Alternatively, you can use the device manager to check if there are problems with any of your hardware devices.

In many cases the answer to this is yes, however in some cases the manufacturers no longer make the Drivers available so you need to use a Driver Update Tool to install the missing Drivers. The purpose of such as tool is to save you time and effort by automatically downloading and updating the Drivers for you.

A Driver Update Program will instantly resolve your drivers problems by scanning your PC for outdated, missing or corrupt drivers, which it then automatically updates to the most compatible version.

The most common problem experienced with MP3 players is the inability to sync the player with your computer or problems with data transfer. Assuming the cables and devices are working correctly, this is most likely going to be a Driver issue.

As described in Dataset Ticker on device with 11th gen Intel CPU - Get Help / Xibo Player for Windows - Xibo Community we still have issues with rendering texts, clock and ticker (maybe more) with the latest player version and the latest Intel GFX driver ( _win_100.9684.exe) on a dell Optiplex 7090 ultra.

Still having issues with this topic. Intel claims the latest drivers have fixed the issue, but we are still seeing text disappearing after a movie has played. We have tried disabling HW acceleration as a workaround, but then the movies play slow and also become unusable. Any further updates on this?

I would also note that even with a VM running fedora on a fedora hosted machine it seems not possible to use true graphics acceleration unless there is an extra GPU installed that can be directly passed into the VM so that the OS of the VM is using its own drivers to manage the hardware acceleration.

I would not know what may have been changed with your update, you would need to check what packages were changed, but I would suspect that this is related to interaction between the kernel drivers and the graphics of both VMware and VirtualBox. Was windows updated at about the same time?

I just tried downgrading mesa from 23.3.2-7 to 23.2.1-2 and accelerated 3D works fine in VMPlayer with this version of mesa. I suspect that some change in mesa is out of sync with the part of open-vm-tools that provides accelerated 3D support.

Thanks for you help and assuring message. I couldn't attach logs here because attachments with .zip extension are not supported. However, I have solved the problem, just going to leave my steps here in case anyone on the Internet stumbles upon this thread.

I realized that the sound is delivered via USB Type-C when Link is connected. So the driver of the USB 3.1 was still using the sound even after VR uncoupling. I had to uninstall the USB driver, reboot the PC and scan for hardware changes in the device manager - that solved the problem immediately, however I wish this could be fixed for Oculus because now I am paranoid to connect my headset via Link and need to create a system checkpoint prior connecting the VR.

Hey there, thanks for reaching out. We understand you are having sound issues with Oculus Link. It's certainly no fun having your device working properly one second and the next having audio issues, so I will do my best to help you find a viable solution.

I am having a similar problem with my PC and Oculus. After using the headset and shutting down the computer, the next time it boots it is set to Oculus for the sound output and my device (Denon receiver is not an option I can select in any of the settings sections). If I look in windows setting my Denon is showing as not connected. If I do a reboot all of my sound devices are back to normal. There has to be a better way to solve this.

I am having a similar problem - no sound in Windows after using Oculus. The Oculus software/drivers are using the audio speaker even after disconnecting the Link. As a result, no sound in Windows. Tried selecting Speakers as a default, unchecked audio enhancements, reinstalling audio and NVIDIA driver, rebooting, stopping/starting audio service - nothing. When I try to Test the Speakers it pops up an error: Failed to play test tone. Please help!

Well it most certainly looks like you got yourself an internal error. Yeah, that just wont do! We need you to have the best time when going though your VR journeys! So let's get this all sorted out and get you back in the game (literally). For this we'll need to gather your logs, take a gander on into your system and give it the once over.

Once you've roped those logs up, let's have you get in touch with our most awesome support agents here: There, they will have an extensive amount of tools at their disposal, to better look into this. Res assured, we'll get you back in the saddle come the next rodeo!

I'm having the same problem - thanks Nikitqua for postin.g your solution. Unfortunately, I can't uninstall the USB driver as I need to keep working with the Quest Link - I'm developing a VR project in Unity for college, and need constant connection to the Quest. Equally, I can't work with losing access to sound on my laptop when not using the Quest. I can hardly join a Zoom or Teams meeting wearing my Quest headset!

I also can't submit the Oculus Log zip file - I followed the link given for support, but there's no option to follow that fits this problem, and no 'other' option. Please, please, please Meta, give us a means of reporting this problem, so your people can look into it. Your Link software is clearly interfering with the audio environment of the PC it's running on, and must be fixed - it's totally unacceptable!

I've now managed to submit a support ticket for this problem, with my Oculus Log attached as recommended by Oculus Support above. It may be a good idea if others could also submit tickets, so they have more info to work on. If you go to the link Support gave above - - you then have to choose Meta Quest 2 > Accessory > Oculus Link > Oculus Brand > "This does not solve my issue". This will eventually get you to their support ticket form. Posting the info here, as it took a long time to find it.

I had similar issue and was able to resolve it. 1) I went to device manager --> Sound, video, and game controllers and right clicked on Oculus Audio device and uninstalled the device (maybe I could have done disable?) 2) I clicked menu --> action --> scan for hardware device and it found my speakers, . 3) Then I clicked on speaker icon in the windows tray (bottom right hand) and clicked the carrot ^ and selected speaker as the output device. I have no idea what this will do when I next attempt to play via Oculus link, worst case I may have to reinstall.
