This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who sacrificed everything for our country and the freedoms we enjoy today.
Many of the seniors in our communities are veterans, military spouses, first responders, teachers, factory workers, and lifelong taxpayers who helped build America through decades of hard work and service.
As we remember those who gave their lives for this nation, it is also a time to reflect on how we care for the generation that carried this country forward.
For many seniors living on fixed incomes, rising costs and property taxes create real financial pressure late in life.
A strong society is measured not only by how it honors its fallen heroes, but also by how it treats its elders — with dignity, stability, and respect.
