HiEthan- with multiple objects in the selection, this does not and in V5 will not work. Single top level objects do retain their Gumball settings however- I believe in SR6 these are saved in the file as well.

I hope they fix this shortcoming. It seems to me, other than easier selection, transforming the group as one is the main reason for creating the group in the first place. Perhaps creating a group could automatically include an invisible reference object whose gumball can be relocated and saved.

Now that I have rhino 6 the Gumball behaves the same as in Rhino 5 after relocation(To a group of objects) it does not remember the last location and returns to it default location.

Am I missing something?

How to align gumball (vertex move) along near edges or how to move mesh edge/vertices along near edges. Something like extend. I want to have green Gumball arrow in same direction as blue arrow (same as near edge).

If you create a custom button like I did, you need to select the edge which shows the Gumball then use the button to align the CPlane to the Gumball. The right mouse button command aligns the Gumball to an edge and thus also the CPlane to the edge. After that is done you can move the point with the Gumball.

No. Maybe in that current above scenario it`s pointless, but I would like to move the point in direction of any dashed line from the same surface. I can do it in the same way as it is on gif above when I will draw external line between CP to use that as source for Cplane.

Sweetgum is a medium to large canopy tree and can grow to over 100 feet in our forests. It maintains an excurrent growth form, which means the central leader (stem) exerts apical dominance (hormonal control) on lateral branch growth. Sweetgum is able to maintain a straight mainstem up through its crown that gives it an oblong or pyramid appearance. This long straight central stem and abundance makes it a popular tree for lumber in the southern states. The heartwood (inner wood) of sweetgum is a beautiful reddish brown and contrasts dramatically from the light tannish sapwood (outer wood). As mentioned the wood is not very rot resistant, so it is typically used for interior products like veneer, cabinets, doors, trim and other mill work.

Sweetgum has distinctive, easily recognizable star shaped leaves that are situated alternatively on branches. It can sometimes be confused with maple species. Maple leaves are oppositely arranged on the stems and, as mentioned, sweetgum leaves have a fragrant odor when crushed. Probably my favorite attribute of this tree, and one that should carry it above the slings and arrows of all of its detractors, is its autumn color. As chlorophyll breaks down in the autumn, sweet gum leaves reveal various shades of purples, reds and yellows. It is quite brilliant like the flames of a campfire (only purple-er).

The bark of the sweetgum is very distinctive too. Young twigs often have unique and random corky wings, Bark of the maturing stem tends to be light brown to light gray with deep, rounded, and sometimes scaly ridges

Sweetgum trees are monoecious, which means male and female reproductive structures (in flowers) are both on individual trees, and have unisexual flowers (separate male and female). These greenish flowers bloom in early spring, and the male flowers, which are oblong, can be seen strewn about the forest floor in late spring. The female flowers, which are more spherical, remain on the tree throughout the growing season as those controversial spiky gumball fruits form. The fruits develop throughout the summer and, at first, are hard and greenish with about 40-60 hard spikes. Just behind the spikes the seeds develop in pairs. As the fruit matures in the autumn, they turn brown and holes develop releasing the small winged seeds that are dispersed by the wind. The husk of the fruit may persist on the tree from autumn through winter. The seeds are a valuable food source for a variety of birds like eastern goldfinches, purple finches, sparrows, mourning doves, northern bobwhites and wild turkeys. Small mammals like chipmunks, red and gray squirrels also consume both the fruits and seeds.

I think we can agree that sweetgum has attributes that we can all love or at least respect. As fall approaches and we head out to the woods to witness the vibrant colors of maples, birches, oaks and cherries, let us not forget to tip our hat to the misunderstood, rarely celebrated sweetgum tree, Liquidambar styraciflua, in all of its autumnal brilliance.

So cute! I love the cream and gold together! I have been on the lookout for a gumball machine. I have found a couple, but they want more than I am willing to pay. ($75 and up) Now I am really excited to find one. Definitely going the cream and gold route! Thanks for sharing! ????

I might just have to get my gumball machine out of the basement, and revamp it. We have had it for over 40 years. I actually was looking at it on Monday, while down in the basement, and contemplating taking it to Goodwill. I will be keeping it in the family.

Hello, does anyone have a similar problem as me? In my shop, currently, the Gumball Goodies have disappeared, even though my Internet connection works well (I still can send lives to my friends, finished levels in Baking Cake, etc).

It could be that the Gumball machine has been removed due to legal reasons in a country. (Unfortunately this is how it happened in my case) But it could also be that the Game Studio is running a test. We've already reported it, so the best thing you can do is make sure your game is up to date.

Hi @astroparty79 I have the same problem and it must be a glitch. I live in Germany and had the chewing gum machine on all devices until the last update. After that, only on my Android phone. Today I suddenly had it on my Windows11 laptop. For that, it disappeared on my Android phone.

Same problem, I'm in the usa..i haven't seen them in a week..last time they were gone for one week n then i got them back..but nothing yet..i hope they bring them back, they are very helpful to me..bring back the gumball goodies!

As you can guess (from the title), the little bodies are made from white gumballs. The hats and scarfs are made from scraps of fleece, and the face and buttons are added (on the outside of the baggies) with a permanent marker.
