In the end, my vengeance did little more than beget more pain in the city I made mine. mafia city took me through a grand tale of loss and, in the end, after all of my macho escapades, I was left more empty, realizing no amount of killing could change what was done. For that reason, Mafia City is not a mafia game to be missed by anyone.

This glitch is present in the current version of Downtown 1930s mafia (although it hasn't been tested for a long time). We do not know who founded or created this glitch but chances are it was founded by U Want Balloons since he knows how to do these glitches. The point of this glitch is that there is a way to get your car stuck in the ceiling of a building so as to activate invincibility.

The other way in the new version is to do by the grey hotel in the Southern District of the City near the park. The player can park the car in the blue region and then get inside the hotel and after the player comes out of the hotel the invincibility gets activated.

One can also make the car go inside the diner while they are inside the car. After that if they can make the car move outside the diner (which is the hardest part), they attain the invincibility glitch.

Recently Ggs and U Want Balloons found another glitch in Diner. One should stand in front of the bench beside the window and press L and F simultaneously until and unless they can walk through the seat. After that they have to go near the window (extreme close) and then adjust the camera at it at an angle (preferably left if you are facing the S.S. Queen or Pier). After on pressing L and F simultaneously, the player may sit in a position outside the diner although it may take some tries. However the player has attained invincibility as no bullets work against him/her.

The surprise release of Mafia 2: Definitive Edition this past week was likely kept under wraps for a very important reason: it's kind of a hot mess. After fans got their hands on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the port and began playing, many started to encounter a plethora of bugs and glitches that weren't there before. It's the kind of stuff that makes you question just what happened during the development process.

A quick search on YouTube brings up a ton of videos of weird face glitches (welcome back, Assassin's Creed Unity), cars and players falling through the game world, and even bugged out special effects that drop the framerate into the single digits. The PS4 version appears to be suffering from more bugs, but neither console port is free of issues.

On the PC side of things, the game is mostly fine. The biggest issue is more the file size has quadrupled over the original version, clocking in at 45 GB vs. the 7 GB of the 2010 release. You do get some higher resolution textures, but it's not a night and day transformation. This is mainly the same release with 4K UI elements.

It should be noted that any open-world game is going to have some kind of glitches. Because of the complex nature of their simulated systems, the engines powering these games will sometimes break in humorous ways. What's more troubling is that the glitches present in this new remaster were not in the original version of Mafia 2.

Mafia 2 wasn't free from bugs, but it mostly worked properly on PC and Xbox 360 (the PS3 version is a different story). You could play the game from start to finish and rarely encounter major technological problems. For Definitive Edition, it appears as if 2K didn't give developer D3t enough time or money to properly touch up this game.

At $30, that's a bit much to ask for a 10-year-old game with new problems. 2K hasn't spoken to these issues yet, either, so there's not even a guarantee that the port will be fixed. The PC version includes it alongside the original, so at least a purchase there will guarantee you a working copy, though probably not the one 2K wants you playing.

When you progress in the story you'll have to assign districts to one of the three underbosses (Vito, Cassandra, and Burke). Just remember to assign all of them equally (I suggest rotating through the three each time so you can get the achievement for keeping them all alive) and you'll be able to do all of the missions needed for achievements.

I was playing what I believe to be the 4th mission for .45 in my hand in Tickfaw Harbor and during the mission i was killed. When I respawned the mission icon on the map is gone and I don't know how to reload it. I even revisited the location of the mission and there's nothing there, no Dixie Mafia and no truck to steal. It does still show it as an optional objective in the chapters, missions and objectives tab of the map menu and shows "assign a district to Cassandra" and "talk to Cassandra" are both complete but there's no option to select the mission. Do you only get one shot to complete these missions and if you die in the middle of them your screwed?! Please help!

Same has happened to me. This game has been a big dissapointment for me due to all the glitches and crashing. Story line is okay but game play is very repetitive. I had high hopes for this game after Mafia 2 but its been a huge let down. Annoyingly its looking like I'll have to assign Cassandra all the districts in my second play though to complete the achievements but she bugs the hell out of me and was hoping to use Vito.

Similar happened to me just now, except the game crashed just around the corner from returning the truck. Reloaded and now Cassandra doesn't give me a mission, there's nothing where the truck was either. This has to be one of the most wonkiest big budget games I've ever played.

Mafia 3 is an ambitious open-world game from new developer Hangar 13. Set in a fictionalized version of New Orleans during the 1960s, protagonist Lincoln Clay looks to exact revenge on the Italian mob. But there's a lot standing in his way, including some truly hilarious and ridiculous glitches.

I'd like to create a glitch thread for this game. I saw that there was one for Red Dead Redemption. Being a PC-to-console port, there might be some glitches and bugs to watch out for.

First one for me:

After you enter the area that signals the end of your first job for Mike Bruski, the cutscene that is supposed to run was frozen. I did see the trophy pop up for completing this mission but the cutscene remained frozen, with a still of Mike trying to wipe the soot off of Joe's coat. However, the PS3 was not frozen and apparently I was able to press START and chose to skip the cutscene to get around the freeze.

Pretty disappointing as I liked the interplay between Joe and Mike. Have a feeling that won't be the last glitch I encounter.

This isn't a glitch, necessarily, but most of the animations that the characters perform outside of cutscenes involves heavy clipping through objects.

One thing that bothers me most is when the Vito attempts to fix a car, he makes a motion as if he has a ratchet in his hand, but there's nothing there.

Just some minor disappointing stuff all around.

Not so much a glitch as a game breaking bug.

Due to reasons unknown we in Europe had to wait till the 27th to actually play the game, who knows why? But anyway, I load up the game after downloading it from Steam and despite being a bit miffed that 5 minutes of gameplay constitutes a chapter I move on to Chapter 2. I beat up the bald man and go to Joe's place, only I can't. I run around the entire building looking for a way in, I must have missed something so I look at a walkthrough video and the door that I though would be the obvious way in actually is but my game doesn't highlight the door and I'm unable to use it or the back door. I restart the game, restart the chapter and still no door.

So yeah, I'm pretty pissed off at this game right now.

Mafia 3 is proudly carrying on the beloved tradition of open-world games entertaining the internet with an endless procession of bizarre glitches. Players are sharing ever more strange happenings across New Bordeaux on Twitter, Reddit, and YouTube, and I've collected some of the best right here.

There were two secret factions (unknown to the players which were not part of them) known as "The Glitch". Each of the glitch players could powerplay their own actions in each Faction's secret BTSC and also powerplay the Night-kill if it was agreed to be carried by one of them. This effectively overrode their normal goodie or baddie BTSC actions.

As a fake Glitch, the dead people in the omniscient Ghost thread were allowed, ONLY once per day, to clear the lynch votes (reseting the day vote). This allowed dead players to help their former team (...or not) and provided a fake Glitch to fool the rest of the alive players which had no idea of the secret Glitch factions.

This game was epic. Never had one single word been thrown around the forum so much and end up with so many different connotations. It was absolutely hilarious. But the glitches didn't fare too well. On Night 2 the baddie glitch was taken out by the goodie glitch and vice versa. The difference was that one death to the baddie glitch left them unable to win while the Goodie Glitch still had a chance. Unfortunately Fox wasn't active early enough to compensate for the confuse Not24_ and the semi-inactive Segul. Though she did give a good push towards the end, all it really did confuse the heck out of the goodies enough for them to shoot themselves in the foot and leave room for Araver and the other baddies to comeback and win the game.
