New format work from the Library of Congress

Happy New Year! Let's celebrate with three new format descriptions on the Sustainability of Digital Formats supporting our ongoing work with formats accessibility for supporting audio players and screen readers and geospatial content.

• 3D Tiles Archive File Format, Version 1.0 (fdd550)

  • No PUID yet but we can try to submit applications for the four types of renderable content which have magic numbers and optional file extensions.
  • Also no Wikidata QID (yet)
• National Instructional Material Accessibility Standard (NIMAS) (fdd555)

  • No PUID and would be hard to get one since this is a set of component files in a Zip
