Policewala Gunda 2 is a Hindi dubbed version of the Tamil action film Jilla, which was released in 2014. The film stars Vijay, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles, and tells the story of a don's son who becomes a police officer to fulfill his father's wish. The film was a commercial success and received mixed reviews from critics.
Plot
The film begins with Sivan (Mohanlal), a powerful don in Madurai, who adopts Sakthi (Vijay), the son of his loyal driver who was killed by a rival gang. Sakthi grows up to be Sivan's right-hand man and helps him in his illegal activities. Sivan wants Sakthi to become a police officer, as he believes that it will give him more power and influence. Review
Policewala Gunda 2 is a typical masala entertainer that has all the elements of action, comedy, romance, and drama. The film is mainly driven by the performances of Vijay and Mohanlal, who share a good chemistry on screen. Vijay impresses with his charisma and stunts, while Mohanlal brings depth and emotion to his role. Kajal Aggarwal has a limited role as the love interest of Vijay, but does justice to her character. The supporting cast also does a decent job, especially Sampath Raj, who plays the villain with conviction.
The film has some flaws, such as a weak script, a predictable plot, and some illogical scenes.
