Hi,

Are there any plans to supported evaluation interval per recording rule? The documentation indicates that evaluation interval is globally configured:

"Recording rules are evaluated at the interval specified by the evaluation_interval field in the Prometheus configuration."

It would be fine to require individualized intervals to be, say, multiples of minutes ...

Thanks! James

This isn't supported yet, but you should almost always be using one eval interval for a given Prometheus in any case.

Can I ask why it is recommended to use one eval interval for all recording rules?

Sanity. It's non-trivial to work with timeseries across different resolutions.
