Changing storage.tsdb.retention on Docker Hub "prom/prometheus"

Hi
I am using "prom/prometheus" from Docker Hub on Docker container via Qnap,
Data retention is set to the default 15d and I would like to extend it but it's not as straight forward as I had hoped I guess :)
- How can I change the value of "storage.tsdb.retention" ?
- Can it be changed on an existing container or only in creation phase ?

You can make your own derivate image https://prometheus.io/docs/prometheus/latest/installation/#custom-image and change the CMD line in the Dockerfile
You will have to start a new container with your custom image.
