How AlertManager can send(or pass on) alerts to IBM NetCool?

Alertmanager has a webhook capability that sends the alerts in JSON payloads. https://prometheus.io/docs/alerting/configuration/#webhook_config Can you create rules within Netcool to handle that?

I also stumbled upon this Webhook to SNMP-trap forwarder a while back. I haven't installed it myself, but it may be worth looking into. https://github.com/chrusty/prometheus_webhook_snmptrapper

  Content of POST in webhook (https://prometheus.io/docs/alerting/configuration/#webhook_config) is fixed, right? - We cannot configure to send a specific payload?

 Also, Can we send webhook to AlertManager for Alerts from another system(other than Prometheus)?

Yes it's fixed. It's intended that you'd write something designed to receive that.

No, however you can send alerts to AlertManager in a different format. It is generally best to do so via Prometheus though.
