As elastic said that it could be a metrics tsdb (https://www.elastic.co/blog/elasticsearch-as-a-time-series-data-store), with its great cluster support and performance, is there any plan to support remote write/read with elastic?

Thanks.

We won't be adding any new remote write support for specific database directly into Prometheus - we've added a generic API so others can write adapters for any DB.  Julius gave a talk about this at KubeCon a few months back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuHkckZg5L0

If you fancy writing an adapter for Elastic, that would be very welcome!

Thanks
