node exporter fails on random diskstats

Hi,

OS: Ubuntu 18.04.5cLTS (latest updates)

node exporter from Ubuntu repository:
ii  prometheus-node-exporter              0.15.2+ds-1                                 amd64        Prometheus exporter for machine metrics

On every read of node-exporter metrics I see random disk device fails to be read:
level=error msg="ERROR: diskstats collector failed after 0.000212s: invalid line for /proc/diskstats for sda15" source="collector.go:123"
evel=error msg="ERROR: diskstats collector failed after 0.000379s: invalid line for /proc/diskstats for loop0" source="collector.go:123"

... And so on.

Is there some particular reason for this to happen with default install?
Any fix/workaround?

I think your version of node_exporter is too old. 0.15.2 was released 5 Dec 2017; the fix is from 30 Oct 2018.
