Continuous wal compaction failed

Hi all I am again and again getting the wal compaction failed even I have deleted all the data inside the data directory. This wal compaction leads to lose of data and not good enough mornitoring.

To to resolve this I just enabled the retention as 2hrs and nothing have enabled do we need to specify any wal size .

I am using the maprFS system to store data and the Prometheus is from operator previously I have Prometheus with out operator that standalone works very well.

Fundamentally, if you get this repeatedly from an empty slate, there
is most likely something "wrong" with your filesystem.

I don't know MapR FS very well, but my wild guess is that it is in
some details not POSIX compliant, which throws Prometheus off. For
example, Prometheus is known to not work with most NFS
implementations.
