Uninstall Alert-Manager Issue

Hello,
can anyone help me with this ?
I'm trying to uninstall alertmanager and its dependencies from a server and its not working !
Trying to upgrade from 0.9.1 to 0.14.0 . Unable to do it , so i'm trying to remove 0.9.1 so that i can install 0.14.0 on it.

sudo apt-get remove alertmanager
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove alertmanager
sudo apt-get purge alertmanager

Hi,
Are you getting any errors? What leads you to believe that it's not removed completely?
