How to delete Silences

Hi,

Is there a way to delete a silence instead of just expire it

For example I can expire a silence with "curl -XDELETE http://<host>:9093/api/v2/silence/$ALERT_ID". But how can I delete it?

I think this is intentional:

I note that the API description says it deletes them:

https://github.com/prometheus/alertmanager/blob/master/api/v2/openapi.yaml#L116-L117

- but maybe it ought to say that it expires them.

Yes I think it would make more sense to have it say expire
