S3 not working with Prometheus

Hi,

I am working on Golang web application. I have used prometheus to add metrices for db, request count etc and all are working fine, but when I do it exactly the same way for s3 - I don't see the metrice. Can anyone suggest a reason for this?

Hi Marriam,

It is hard to provide help without more information about how you have configured Prometheus:

* How are you exporting metrics from S3 to Prometheus? Are you using an exporter?

* What is your Prometheus configuration file?

* Is the endpoint exposing S3 metrics available in Status > Targets in the Prometheus UI?
