backup and restore the prometheus data

     Is there any way or any api call to take the backup of prometheus data?

Or Is there any way to restore the same on prometheus?

way something like api or cli mode to do the backup and restore operations

I have prometheus snapshot with me. I want to see old prometheus data. Is there any way to restore the previous prometheus snapshot on prometheus and on grafana?
