Zendesk to prometheus integration

Hello, 

Does any body here ever had to integrate alert manager with zen desk. If you have please advise on how you managed to deal with the JSON in prometheus. 

We are about to write a forwarder, that takes the JSON, parses it and forwards it onwards to the queue. I though I would ask to save us some time.

I can suggest looking at opsgenie or PagerDuty. Giving you another layer to manage your alerts / on call (if you have it) along with many integrations. Zendesk being one of them.

Thanks for the response. The only problem with this is that I am not sure if the pager duty integration allows for two way communication. We intend to perform a prometheus -> alert manager -> zendesk integration.

We have alternative option though such as email and other things. I think  pager duty to zen desk might be the best alternate route.

We are also interested in such integration and workflow like you described - prometheus -> alertmanager -> zendesk without PagerDuty in the middle.

I personally like PD but in our concrete case team decided to move without it and its scheduling/on call capabilities and try to work on incidents in zendesk directly. 

Do you happen to find anything or we need to implement such integration?

Any news about this problem? Still looking for a way to integrate ZenDesk and Alertmanager, so it can create tickets when firing an alert.
