Hi, I would like to include all the rule files in prometheus.yml configuration but with no luck:

rule_files:
  - "/etc/prometheus/*.yml"

I am trying to follow the syntax from https://prometheus.demo.do.prometheus.io/config can someone please help!

It's not a good idea to keep prometheus.yml and the rest of the scrape config files in the same path.

Create a sub directory under /etc/prometheus to keep the scrape config files.

Got it, thank you! that means below syntax works fine for including all rules?
