Setting only Alertname and Instance as Subject for Email Notification.

Hi. I am using Alertmanager v 0.21.0. I want to define a custom email template where in the subject of the email I don't get all the labels, but instead only want to print the alert name and the instance. Is it possible? I went through a bunch of documents but couldn't narrow down the labels in the subject.

Hi Sadhana,

You can use group_by feature in the Alertmanager's config file or you can drop the unwanted labels in the alert rule itself.
