prometheus upgrade strategy

Currently we're running Prometheus version 2.20.1. Have not found any notes regarding upgrade path. Assuming that it's safe to go with minor versions upgrade? In this case that would be from 2.20.1 -> 2.27.1. Also does Alertmanager follow the same - we run 2.20.0 version currently?

Quoting the page:

As long as you are not using any features marked as
experimental/unstable, an upgrade within a major version can usually be
performed without any operational adjustments and very little risk that
anything will break. Any breaking changes will be marked as CHANGE in
release notes.
