Node exporter taking a long time to scrape metrics

Hi,

Node exporter is taking long time to scrape metrics (very very long)

Is there any way to address this issue?

Hi Dibya,

There are many ways.
Depends on what it is.
So you need to figure out more details.
For a first attempt you could try to test how the exporter behaves if you query it locally and from remote by using curl or a browser.

Its not the network issue. I think the issue is it is taking a lot of time of get the metrics

When I run like this it works fast

 ./node_exporter --collector.filesystem.ignored-fs-types '^(nfs.*|(sys|proc|auto)fs)$'
