No data in Prometheus UI console, even though targets are UP

Hi,

My Prmethus UI shows that all targets are UP

Despite this, when I try to click on a ip:port/metrics, I recieve a window saying:

"This site can’t be reached...

1.6.1.10 took too long to respond."

In addition, when I try to use the "Graph" from the menu, and then the "console" tab - I can see metrics showing up in the drop down list:

but when I hit the "execute" button, it shows no data:

The Graph tab however seems to show the values:

How can I troubleshoot this ?

This is likely a time sync problem between your client browser and your server. What version of Prometheus are you running?

That should be fine. Are you using the pushgateway or similar?

You cut off the screenshot, so I can't tell if your lines are ending before "now".

Like I said in the first response, you likely have time drift between components. Please check your NTP settings.

Hi,

NTP settings were indeed off, showing the wrong time compared to browser (PC).

Changing it solved it.
