Prometheus 30days logs

to Prometheus Users

Hello Team,

Looking how i can get the 30 or 60days logs on the prometheus, as of now getting by default 15days data.

Now we have a requirement of 60days. Is there any config file where i can update on my prometheus server and then i can get the logs.

OR

is there any grafana query to be update on the prometheus dashboard so that i can pull the data.

Please help me on this. This is very critical concern now.

Hello,

You can use the command line flag --storage.tsdb.retention.time=

e.g.

prometheus --storage.tsdb.retention.time=60d

This is a flag you need to set when starting prometheus, so you will
need to stop prometheus and restart prometheus with that flag.

We can't help you more without knowing more about the environment and the way
prometheus was installed.
