Hello everybody.
I've installed nightly build of InluxDB as a remote read/write storage as described here: https://www.influxdata.com/blog/influxdb-now-supports-prometheus-remote-read-write-natively/ together with Prometheus 2.0. Now I have misleading graphs in my Grafana dashboards, because Prometheus returns metrics both from local and remote storages. Does anybody know how to avoid metrics duplication? Does Prometheus have an option to completely disable local tsdb or there any other way? As a workaround I could use prometheus "external_labels" to filter out metrics from local storage, but I have to change all my Grafana dashboards then. Are there any better solutions?

Thank you.

I found solution myself. I just removed external_labels option from Prometheus config and now I don't have metrics duplication anymore.

Hi, I have the same issue as you. But when i desactivate the external_labels , Prometheus stop getting data from influxdb. Do you ave an idea about this ?
