Multithreading in prometheus

Hello experts, Aditya this side. I am a student, and have just started exploring prometheus. So please bear with me, if my doubts seems obvious to you.

Did prometheus use multithreading to scrape targets?

Yes, Prometheus is written in Go, and uses the goroutines feature for scraping targets. Each target scraper is a goroutine.
