Hello,

During the last Prombench, we were wondering whether there is a
performance regression regarding the latest release.

While this is business as usual, I propose we introduce ConProf with
Prombench to take detailed profiles and compare them:
https://github.com/conprof/conprof

As we have Prometheus community members working on this at Polar Signals,
we would work together to connect Polar Signals' conprof-as-a-service to
Prombench.

The exact details would be discussed with Polar Signals' team.

Note: I have held an informal discussion with Frederic from Polar
Signals and he is enthusiast about the idea.

Thanks for bringing this up Julien :), had a few questions.

Do we know what changes will be required on prombench side? From what i understood this will run on for the two instances of prometheus and the profile storage will happen elsewhere(Polar Signals)? Please at your time, open an issue at https://github.com/prometheus/test-infra/issues or maybe the exact details can be discussed here as well.
