Cassandra as backend storage for Prometheus

Does Prometheus provide any out of box adapter to use cassandra as storage for writing and reading metrics? If not, is there any open source adapter available to integrate Prometheus with Cassandra as storage?

I don't think there is one, or none that we know of. We try to keep a list of such integrations here:

It isn't a Cassandra-only solution but the BigGraphite project (which is Graphite on Cassandra) has a read/write adapter for Prometheus [1].

Its a little bigger than a adapter, but Cortex now supports Cassandra for index and chunk storage.  And you write to Cortex using Prometheus remote write.
