While all the excitement is focused on Prometheus 3.0 (available as a beta release), we are preparing the next minor release of Prometheus 2.

Version 2.55 has several new features, some optimisations, and a number of bug-fixes.

Please try out the release candidate on a non-critical environment and let us know what you find.
