Prometheus 3.1.0-rc.1 is available

We are pleased to announce that Prometheus 3.1 will soon be released, with a number of enhancements, performance improvements and bug-fixes.

A couple of the bug-fixes are announced as changes in behaviour:

• [CHANGE] Notifier: Increment prometheus_notifications_errors_total by the number of affected alerts rather than per batch. #15428
• [CHANGE] API: list rules field "groupNextToken:omitempty" renamed to "groupNextToken". #15400

The second release candidate is now available, with one small bugfix after RC.0.

Please try out the release candidate on a non-critical environment and let us know what you find.
