Dear Prometheans,

prom2json 1.5.0 is out! Most importantly, you can now set --escaping=allow-utf-8 on the command line to scrape metrics with non-standard characters in their metric or label names.

Besides the improvements above, this release comes with updated dependencies, and the pre-built binaries are using Go1.25.3, both to avoid potential security issues. (Note that this is just a precaution. We do not know of any relevant vulnerabilities in v1.4.2.)
