I have just released v1.6.0 of the Go instrumentation and API client library.

The reason why this bumps the minor release number is the new promlint package. It contains the linting code from promtool (living in the prometheus/prometheus repo), making it easily accessible to external users as a package, and also backing the new CollectAndLint and GatherAndLint test helpers in the testutil package.
