Prometheus client_golang v1.24.0 was released!
Some highlights:
* Minimum required Go version update to Go 1.25.
* Default UTF-8 metric name validation.
* New Go 1.26 runtime metrics
* Default UTF-8 metric name validation.
* New Go 1.26 runtime metrics
* OpenMetrics opt-in unit support
* promhttp optimizations: HandlerOpts.CoalesceGather and name[] metric filtering.
* Prometheus v1 API additions (/format_query, /status/tsdb/blocks, rules matchers).
* Safety & stability fixes (promhttp: fixed panics for summaries, exp/api/remote: snappy payload 32MB limits, buffer pooling fixes).
