Thestore changed to U.S a while ago when i tried to download and app that was only available in the U.S. A prompt appeared on screen asking if I wanted to switch (to which I said yes), but the download still didn't work and I have since been unable to switch back and therefore do anything on the app store.
If I'm understanding you right, you're unable to download any apps in the App Store. When you try to you get an error that says "Account Not In This Store". I'm happy to help you get to the bottom of this.
If you haven't done so already, I recommend restarting your iPhone: Restart your iPhone. This is a simple step that can solve a lot of different issues. Check to see if your country is still listed as United Kingdom afterwards and if it is, try downloading an app. If you run into the same issue as before, the next best step would be to sign out of the App Store and then sign back in. You can do this in Settings > iTunes & App Stores. Tap on your Apple ID there and select Sign Out. Sign back in on that same page and then test everything out once more. Please note that if you're subscribed to Apple Music you will have to redownload music that was previously downloaded for offline listening.
For future reference, changing your Apple ID country your billing address and payment information also has to match the country you're changing it to as explained here: Change your Apple ID country or region. This should only be done if you've moved to a new country or region.
I understand there are things that customer support is not able to do. BUT I do not understand the idea behind we can not help thing. If not customer support, if not GMs there is someone authorized enough to help me. Afterall I bought the game but only on the wrong region.
Help not always comes from first hand. In this situation you are saying that we can not help because we do not have that kinda power! Maybe that is perfectly true. BUT I need to remind that in wildfires humans are not the ones has the power to extinguish it. Water is. So you are saying that we can not help. But water in your hand can! Just help me to reach someone authorized enough to help me play the game. All I ask is to play the game. And the only thing needs to be done is delete the EU purchase and active a US one. If not the company owns the game can not help idk who can.
I understand your concern about shadiness but the site I purchased the code was a site I was using for a long time, purcased wow classic from there, bfa from there and never failed me or my friends anyway. It is a trusted site in my country. And about the refund, probably they will hand me the refund anyway but this is not what i am asking for. I never asked for refund. I wanted the game on the right region and I tought those guys built the game so they can help. Afterall refund will take time to reach me and I will buy the same game from same company anyway.
I accidentally added game time to to the wrong account, and the process was for them to refund my game time, and me to add it to the correct account, not for them to transfer the game time for me to the correct account.
My friend you are right.I am well aware that I am the one who bought the wrong edition. This is why i am asking for help. You are saying things I am clearly aware of. Of couse blizzard does not have to do anything. They could just say what you said. Oh 3rd party, your mistake. That is perfectly true but not helping. And I am not looking for any rights because just like you said, its my mistake. I am looking for help. Not demanding anything because I can not demand anything. All i can say is I have the game, already bought, they can delete my acount and give me US one. Not because its my right or anything. Just because to help me. Or they could just say we can refund and cut it. They have every right to say that.
I'm also having the exact same issue, I spoke to both Samsung and Samsung pay, the advisor at Samsung said that due to the way the app works it will only work in the region within the device was purchased. This can be overridden if the phone is re-flashed and has the UK firmware installed on it, you may also notice your software updates are HK updates. This shouldn't impact any other features of the phone is my understanding so far.
Samsung can re-flash the phone but due to the warranty only being in China / HK the UK support won't touch it as it is a different SKU from what they sell (basically it has the snapdragon processor). I believe they can reflash in Hong Kong if you go back out there which would then unlock these features (and lose all your data so back up). As far as i'm aware the snapdragon processor varient hasn't been rooted yet by independent developers so I've not seen anyone in the UK resolve this issue without Samsung support.
In terms of the level of extent you want to go to to solve this issue is where i'm at. Samsung pay doesn't actually support my bank yet and Google pay works very well in the UK as most of our shop terminals support standard contactless. Potentially in a year or two once the functionality has improved it might be more attractive. If you travel back out there again then speak to Samsung HK support and see if you can schedule it while you're out there, or mail it to them...
The easiest way is to go to
sammobile.com and reflash your fone with the new firmware for the new country (not as scary as it seems, loads of guides on the website for what firmware version etc). Id recommend downloading phone info from the app store to tell you what version etc you have right now. I bought my s7 in UAE but moved back to the UK so i just flashed on the uk firmware and your samsung pay will change country automatically.
Downside is you gotta reformat the fone so do all the backups etc first. Whole install process took maybe 15 to 20 mins?. Id recommend using a laptop or pc rather than doing it directly on the phone but you can do it that way of you dont have access to a pc.
My phone is from the UAE and I am in the UK. At first Samsung pay wouldn't run but all I did was clear the app data and relaunched the app. It works 100% fine. No need to flash firmware or any other complicated solutions. Not even a factory reset.
The error "Activation code is invalid for this region" occurs if you attempt to activate the application with an activation code that was intended for use in another country or region. For example, you may have gotten this error if you bought or downloaded Kaspersky Free in your home country and then tried to activate it while abroad.
Recently bought a new device and wanted to connect Brave to it. However, when I tried to tie Uphold with Brave, I got an error message about my region not being supported, which is untrue. I am in Czech Republic, it is not restricted, I used Brave so far in Czech Republic on my other devices so I am not sure what to do and why is this happening.
I just want someone to tell me why all of a sudden the Czech Republic appears as unsupported when it is on the list of supported countries, and I can still use my Brave reward account on my old device (funny, how if it is UnSuppOrtEd), AND HOW TO FIX IT.
Don't worry - it's quick and painless! Just click below, and once you're logged in we'll bring you right back here and post your question. We'll remember what you've already typed in so you won't have to do it again.
You should be able to change your account's country or region on this page. Be sure that the owner's account and the other member's accounts are set to the same country. Then, be sure the account address is the same on both accounts (which can be found here,) as well as your family plan page (here).
