Ginny Weds Sunny is a 2020 Indian Hindi romantic comedy film starring Yami Gautam as Ginny and Vikrant Massey as Sunny. It is directed by debutant Puneet Khanna and produced by Vinod Bachchan.[2][3]

The film was announced on 11 July 2019, and principal photography began on 20 September; it was shot in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Manali.[4][5] The filming was wrapped up in November 2019.[6] Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was released on 9 October 2020 on Netflix.[7]

The movie was announced on 11 July 2019 with a cast including Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey.[10] It was directed by Puneet Khanna and produced by Vinod Bachchan under Soundrya Production. Navjot Gulati wrote the story and Sumit Arora wrote the dialogues.[9] It marks Khanna's directorial debut. Sony Music India was roped in as the official music partner.

Filming started on 20 September 2019 in Delhi, then the film was shot in Noida, Ghaziabad and Manali. In Ghaziabad, the movie was shot in Raj Nagar Sector 5 and in Sector 4 Central Park along with several other places as small references. Shooting ended in November 2019.[4][5]

The song "Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag" is from an original album of the same title by Mika Singh in 1998, composed and written by him. This is the second time the song is being recreated after 2008's film Woodstock Villa which was sung by Mika Singh. Later the song was recreated again by Mika Singh for the 2020s film Indoo Ki Jawani, as "Hasina Pagal Deewani", sung by Mika Singh and Asees Kaur.[14][15]

MUMBAI: One would normally assume that a Mika Singh song will be a peppy fare, complete with groovy music. But for the film Forensic, which releases on Zee5 soon, composer duo Amol-Abhishek turns this notion on its head. Having brought Singh on board to croon their newest track Belagaam along with Nikhita Gandhi, the song lends an atmospheric vibe to the movie.

Producer Deepak Mukut adds, "Music is quite an integral part of the narrative for any film, and for a film like Forensic, we needed a song that would add to its narrative and not feel out of place. Belagaam does just that. Amol-Abhishek have created a beautiful melody whereas Mika and Nikhita have taken the song to another level with their voices. The audience will love this unusual avatar of Mika."

Forensic is directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Deepak Mukut, Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla under their banners of Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. & Mini Films, and co-produced by Hunar Mukut. The film also stars Prachi Desai along with Apte and Massey. It drops on Zee5 on June 24.

Directed by Devang Bhavsar, 'Blackout' is touted to be a crime thriller comedy. It also stars Mouni Roy and Sunil Grover.

The song is sung, composed, and written by Vishal Mishra and captures the essence of a thrilling and adventurous night centred around a heist and greed that changes everything.

Taking to Instagram handle, Vishal Mishra treated fans with song video.

The song showcases Vikrant Massey's character is involved in a car collision with a small truck, which turns out to be loaded with cash, gold, and other valuables. His curiosity leads him to discover the valuable item, which adds a thrilling twist and turn.

Recently, actor Anil Kapoor unveiled the teaser of Vikrant Massey-starrer.

Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Niraj Kothari, Blackout is slated to stream on JioCinema from June 7. The film is written by Devang Bhavsar, Abbas Dalal and Hussain Dalal.

Apart from this, Vikrant is also set to feature in 'The Sabarmati Report' alongside Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra.

In the film, Vikrant plays a vernacular journalist, Samar Kumar, who teams up with a fellow reporter portrayed by Raashii Khanna, and a senior anchor played by Ridhi Dogra.

The film is helmed by Ranjan Chandel. Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan serve as the producers of the film.

The film was earlier scheduled to be released in May, will now be out in August 2024. (ANI)
