6) Open registry editor through run command (windows icon + R) and then type regedit. Once registry editor opens, click on edit -> find, make sure to tick mark match whole strings only. Type bitdefender in search box and click find next. If any file or folder under name of bitdefender is found, delete it. Continue searching the registry and deleting until the search will report no registry keys found.
I tried to install a 'critical windows update' that bitdefender found after a vulnerability scan, but nothing happened. I waited 1 hour. I have now clicked 'stop'. It seemed to be an update related to microsoft defender antivirus.
Hello! Today Bitdefender told me that there were windows updates available and that I should update, so I went to windows settings and click "check for updates" and windows told me that there were none.
So I run a vulnerability scan so it can stop telling me that there are windows updates and still told me that there was one and windows update immediately downloaded it and now it's asking for a restart (I didn't click to install the update on bitdefender).
