Professor Naomi Chazan is a former member and speaker of the Knesset, an academic and an outspoken social rights activist, Naomi Chazan will make a brief visit to Australia to provide insight into Israeli society and the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Naomi Chazan currently serves as Head of the School of Government and Society at the Academic College of Tel-Aviv-Yafo and spent the academic year 2004-2005 as the Wilhelm Fellow at the Center for International Studies at MIT. She is also the recently elected president of the New Israel Fund.
