Latino Leadership Institute Latino Leadership Institute  Presents: FREE 2014 Public Policy Course   What: FREE 5 Week Public Policy Course When: Saturday 10am-12pm Where: CUNY Silberman School of Social Work              2180 3rd Ave. & 119th We are thrilled to be launching a new pilot program this February! Our free 5 Week Public Policy Course will cover the basics of four foundational areas of public policy: economic development, housing, health care, and education. The course is designed to provide activists, community leaders, and candidates with a stronger understanding of public policy so as to be more effective and well rounded leaders. Each two hour intensive class will be taught by an instructor who specializes in that week's topic. We will end this dynamic course with a coaching class  that focuses on developing a powerful introspective approach to making the many important decisions faced by candidates, campaign managers, activists, and community leaders.
