Support for auto-loading GIS data?

Hi - 

I'm just getting started with ProjectTemplate and it looks great! I was just wondering if there was any support out there for auto-loading GIS data like .shp files, GeoJSON, TopoJSON, etc.? If not, I may try to cobble something together.

Hi Jon,

Autoloading GIS data sounds great! We’ve been working to make it easier to create new loaders for ProjectTemplate by separating them into their own packages. Most of the development and discussion is happening on GitHub https://github.com/johnmyleswhite/ProjectTemplate

Would love your help making a GIS reader for ProjectTemplate. Best way to start is to open an issue on GitHub and then start discussion what the GIS reader could do and how it could be implemented. Then work towards a Pull Request.
