Job Description:
-A top internet
retailer, is looking for a Java Software Engineer to join their growing
development teams.
-This individual will be joining a team of 20 individuals
in creating and enhancing the company's applications.
-This is a team of
generalists, not specialists working with a wide variety of current technologies
in a Scrum (Agile) environment.
Requirements:
-BS/BA in Computer
Science or related science or engineering field.
-3-7 years of software
development experience. 2 + years of Java Development.
-Solid experience
and fluency in Unix or Linux.
-Experience with an MVC framework (Struts,
Spring).
-The ability to configure/manage development environment (HTTP
Server, Application Server).
-Solid knowledge of SQL and database
design.
-Experience working on high availability, transactional
applications.
-Strong written verbal communication skills, including the
ability to communicate technical information to business users.
-The ability
and willingness to proactively interact creatively and achieve results in a
dynamic environment.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Self-motivated and able to successfully manage multiple priorities
effectively and efficiently.
