[PP-dev] integrating a date picker in PP

gud am im currently customizing Project Pier for our company and one of the enhancements that i would like to do is to put a calendar icon on the task view in which other than the option box the user could just use a date picker now im having a hard time and cant figure it out how to apply it in the framework of PP...
i was able to download source code for this calendar component and im attaching it here so anybody can take a look at it,
hope somebody could enlighten which file will be going to helper, model or be placed as a view i need to be able to accomplish this as soon as possible
